Interview Questions
Through my background in the designed environment, over 20 years of entrepreneurship, and 15 years of international living, I have developed the ability to view the world with openness, understanding, and compassion. These experiences have shaped my perspective while navigating diverse cultural, business, and social landscapes.
My academic journey at the University of Florida has further deepened my expertise, providing me with a foundation in health education and promotion, public health, intervention planning and evaluation. This combination of real-world experience and academic depth has equipped me to address complex health challenges with innovative solutions.
Looking ahead, in five years, I envision expanding the diabetes education company that I started in 2015, focusing on the development of a cutting-edge diabetes management platform incorporating an AI personal health assistant. This platform will provide personalized education and support to individuals managing diabetes, leveraging technology to improve accessibility, data integration, and health outcomes. I also aim to secure corporate sponsorships, along with partnerships with health insurance companies and corporate benefits managers. These collaborations will enable my organization to scale its impact, addressing the needs of both individuals with diabetes and the corporate world, while fostering a culture of support and wellness for chronic conditions.
While I am not interviewing for a career change, I lead with curiosity and find that conversations with mentor entrepreneurs have incredible value, both personally and professionally. I would ask:
1.) What strategies have you found most effective for fostering innovation and growth in the health education and technology sectors?
2.) How do you balance maintaining the integrity and mission of your organization while pursuing large-scale partnerships and sponsorships?
